LA CORNUE IN THE SPOTLIGHT AT “LES ÉTOILES DE MOUGINS”

La Cornue has been crafting exceptional kitchen ranges for three generations, pursuing a vision of excellence in making and providing for great kitchens.

La Maison La Cornue began as a family business nearly a century ago and is still family-run to this day.  It holds the noble art of great craftsmanship in high esteem, manufacturing its kitchen ranges to order. We create unique pieces which are assembled by hand by one craftsman, with patience and pride.

La Cornue chose to be a partner to the first International Gastronomy Festival to share its love of all things beautiful. We will be at Mougins throughout the Festival and are delighted to be taking part in the tribute to one of the 20th century’s greatest chefs, Roger Vergé, the emblematic figurehead of the Moulin de Mougins restaurant.




This year, the first edition of the “Etoiles de Mougins” is celebrating excellence and creative spirit, bringing together a number of great chefs (Paul Bocuse, Pierre Troisgros, Alain Senderens, Anne-Sophie Pic to name but a few). They will be supporting young professionals from kitchens all over France and the world, young men and women preparing to pick up the cooking baton.

Mougins is the mythical birthplace of French gastronomy and over the Festival’s three days the town turns into a genuine journey of discovery, with culinary workshops and cooking demonstrations.

Don’t miss the “Stade des Pianos”. Several up-and-coming chefs will be cooking on CornuFé ranges, the latest in the La Cornue line, live on stage in front of a jury of Michelin-starred chefs and an audience of around 300 people.

The “Cuisine du Monde” area celebrates flavours from all over the world, welcoming Great Chefs from many different countries. The cooking demonstrations will take place on a La Cornue Château XXX range, renowned for its vaulted oven and fantastic roasting capabilities.

Without a doubt, the high point of the Festival will be the “Tribute to Roger Vergé” gala dinner organised at the Moulins de Mougins restaurant with many famous names and faces from Gastronomy, the Arts and Show Biz!
